THE WHAT? Firmenich has entered into an agreement with Finlays, granting the flavors and fragrances supplier full access to the tea and coffee producer’s full portfolio of extracts in Europe, effective immediately.
THE DETAILS As part of the agreement, Firmenich will focus on commercializing two core parts of Finlays’ extracts business in Europe: cold brew coffee and tea extracts, the latter of which includes The Wellbeing Collection rich in bioactive compounds associated with various health benefits.
“Firmenich and Finlays are joining forces at a time when consumer demand for healthier, natural ingredients has never been higher,” said Rachel Jones, Head of Business Development at Finlays Group. “Firmenich’s strong market coverage, deep understanding of taste and application know-how will enable Finlays products to reach a braoder audience in Europe.”
